Sunday morning my wife decided out of the goodness of her heart to make some cinnamon rolls for us for breakfast. Not that it was all that big of a deal, it was the Pillsbury pop open, put in a pan, bake and ice kind. They weren’t even the Grands, just the plan old rolls. Still, a nice gesture.
Notice the roll my wife gave me sitting there off to the right? Little hard to see you say? Let’s get a little closer.
Wonder what that crescent shaped indentation is in the roll? It’s from where I tried to take a bite. I say try because it didn’t work. I did manage to chip my 1st premolar, #21 in the tooth honor roll. How in the heck did I do that? Let’s take a look at the roll from the bottom side.
Oh yea, she didn’t remove the end cap from the first roll and I tried to eat it. Unfortunately when I picked this tasty treat off my plate I never touched the bottom until it was in my mouth. Chipped tooth, headache and that “I just bit aluminum foil” taste in my mouth all day.
I won’t ever take a bite from one of those again without a bottom check.
oh my goodness, that is SO funny!!!
It’s your own fault for not checking the bottom. Come on! Who doesn’t check the bottom? Everybody checks the bottom, Jerry.
I check the bottom…….
At least your lovely wife made the effort!
